We are almost there. 38 weeks + 4 days now. I think we're ready, can you really be ready? I don't have an answer to that one.

Monday Morning - We Were Due, But Not That Kind of Due!

Were we do or what?  It felt like spring, like the ice and snow (and sleet) had finally started to break. And thank God for that, I needed it.  I think I was starting to feel a bit of the winter blues.

Went and visited the soon to be grandparents down on the family farm.  Ran a few errands and did a little shopping as well.

Stumbled upon this cool tufted stool, could be better with nicer fabric or great quality leather, but it's inspiring all the same!

Herschal back-pack? Okay.  How sweet is this!?

Monday Morning - A Sweet Breakfast

Monday Morning(ish) - Out for Food

I had a great weekend. And it's family day (here in Ontario and few other Canadian provinces), which means it keeps on going!  

So far, I have eaten like a king.  Memories of Japan on Friday night, 5 Doors North on Saturday night, and a good family meal on Sunday night.

Monday Morning - Working Weekend

Working weekend for me. I spent my free time at home, cleaning out the nursery, and moving forward on a bunch of other ideas.  Of course, I found sometime to relax and watch the Superbowl too.

Monday Pics - Good Morning to Ya'll

This weekend was a working Saturday, which really takes the speed out of your engine. Sunday always seems to become a lazy day if you've just worked 6 in a row.  I tried to get out a few things, and glad that I did.  Found some prints, Ikea specials, maybe for the nursery?  Could be a world traveler in there, who knows?

Stopped by my local LCBO and Winners for a couple of treats too!  Nice big box parking lot sunset to finish off the weekend.

I am beat this morning.  The other half was flipping and flopping last night. We're in the home stretch now and I think she's getting a touch uncomfortable, understandably.  But does she have to flip so vigorously?

Monday Morning Pics - Wet Weekend Edition

What a wet weekend!  I was busy, running, running, running.  (For work as much as play)  This was one of the play moments while out for a trail jog through Charles Sauriol Conservation Reserve.  Cool, damp, wet, but refreshing in a way that only the fall is.   

Monday Morning - Slow Down

This quote says a lot today, I'm dragging my... ...well you know what I mean.

I've been working too much.  I'm beat and need a bit of a break.  Maybe I can get away for a bit? Maybe a vacation is in order? Maybe I need to Slow Down.  I just can't see it happening.  

I'm sure I'm not the only one in this boat.  The one great thing I did find time for was a little cooking and baking. I made scones with a delicious Grand Marnier fruit compote, as well as the very tasty Bruschetta below.

Monday Morning Pics - Niagara Falls

This weekend my wife had a conference in Niagara Falls.  I've never explored or walked around here on my own.  It was nice for a change to be totally on my own schedule.  

Just a few quick snaps to share with everyone.  Monday is starting off slowwwwly for me.  We didn't get back till late and I'm beat this morning.

Monday Morning - Leslieville and Distillary

Good Monday Morning everyone!  Hopefully  a good weekend was had by all.  I was in and out of the city this weekend, but thankfully, I had the time to make a quick dash down to the St.Lawrence,  and pick up some sweet Ontario Peaches for an awesome Peach Cobbler we made on Saturday.

Monday Morning - Chill Out This Week

Good Morning Monday.  Short week for me, I head to California this Thursday night!  This weekend was largely last minute research and packing.  I did however, make it out to Lazy Daisy's for brunch on Sunday.  All local, all delicious.  They are located at the corner of Gerrard and Coxwell.  

The farmers clubhouse is a must eat.  More to come.

Hot week coming, projecting the hottest day of the year.  So chill out, B-Lazy, and enjoy the heat.

Monday Morning Pics - Whoopie Pie Edition

I didn't go to any of the events on my Weekend To Do's post, on the road as usual.  Had another Canada Day party, a week late but who's counting? Just a different group of friends that we had to celebrate with. 

Stopped in at a new bakery in Waterloo, the Honey Bake Shop,  and had a red velvet whoopie pie!  That's how you make a  Saturday afternoon treat.

And on Sunday, I pretty much didn't move from this spot. Can you blame me?
