Mirror Mirror

Many, many years ago I found this mirror for $99!  It was very hard to pass up, especially for something of this size.

To let you know how old it is the black stripe use to be hunter green!  Yep I said hunter green!  It was a happening colour back in the day!

It needed to be refreshed and gold was just the ticket.

I purchased a liquid gold leaf and went to town.

I was excited to be able to paint the entire mirror with just a small amount of paint, it was a nice change but it's missing something.  I'm thinking it needs a more yellow colour to high light and possibly a darker colour to shade.  It's still a work in progress but I just wanted to show you what I've been up to in the condo.

{Home Office}

Slowly but surely I have been decorating my condo, room by room and budget by budget.

I have this small space off my bedroom that called to be my home office.  There are sliding glass doors into this space that I try very hard to ignore, tripping over the track and walking into the doors isn't helping the situation lol.

It's not 100% complete, but I thought I would give you a look into the progress.  I added more pictures to my gallery wall on the weekend so it made it feel slightly more finished.  Who knew I would lean so much towards the colour pink?!

Decisions Decisions!!!

Come October first me and my adorable hubby will be moving into our brand new condo.  Of course the designer in me wants to create a fresh new look.  Our existing place is very warm and cozy and I enjoy it most in the evening.  I want my new place to bright and cool and look best during the day.  My dilemma is what to keep and what to sell? Should I go with a  coastal hampton's style or more urban eclectic? Eeeek decisions, decisions!  Thanks to Pinterest  I am pinning away looking for inspiration.  So far here are my favourite images below....
