Spring Colour - Rushed and Rushed Edition

Had to go for a last minute doctors visit! No worries though, all is fine. Ran out of blog time so I thought I'd throw something up here nice a quick for you all today.

First day of spring, makes me think of soft colours and warm spaces.  Take a deep breath and enjoy these, forget about the -10 we woke up to here in Toronto this morning.

Working Weekend - But at Least it was at Home

Finally finished painting - who knew that could be so much work?  Builder beige in a condo is surprisingly porous - took a little more time, and an extra coat I didn't expect to be putting on. Still all worth it in the end, I'll show you in an upcoming post!

Now didn't I tell you these were going to be everywhere?

What do you think?  Found this at Ikea - might look nice on the sofa I have yet to buy or get made (think I'm running out of time? Ahhhh!) and it pops so nicely against the (also purchased this weekend at Ikea) crib.

My New Favourite Pinner. Pinned, Pinning, Pin!

So, you're cruising around Pinterest, and you find this power user.  You know the type, the one who has fashion covered from top to bottom, or interesting interiors that you can't seem to find anywhere else?  That's what happened to me.  I was searching, "Camel", for an upcoming basement/living space project, and somehow ended up on Yulia Sisoeva's page.

You will never see such beautiful, more well organized, idea filled, colour coded, image inspired, world spanning, Pinterest boards again.
And this is only a smattering of what she has posted!

I think this is what Pinterest is for and how it should be used. These boards are a course on colour theory. I'm finding myself inspired, by the eye and organization of an individual, of other peoples work!

Do you have a favourite Pinterest board or blogger that you follow to find inspiration?
