Did the season change this week? I left a clients yesterday just north of Richmond Hill and was blown away by the change in the leaves. For the first time this year it felt like the summer had passed on by and fall was here.
Of course, being Thursday, I was thinking about what to get up to this weekend. Now I was thinking about it with a hint of autumn bias. Yes, you can go see Cirque this weekend, or even Sister Act the musical, but wouldn't something a touch more seasonal feel right?
How about the first (of several) Halloween themed weekend nights at Canada's Wonderland?
Or Toronto's version of the Bavarian tradition Oktoberfest? Its not exactly KW, but I'm sure its a good time.
Family fun? Down at the Harbour Front Centre, the HarbourKids Folk weekend. It is Thanksgiving weekend after all, maybe spend Monday with the fam?
Since the owners and players can't seem to get it together in the NHL, go support a different local team, The Toronto Lakeshore Patriots.
Have fun, eat turkey, and enjoy the extra day off.
Bill
